4 Steps For Elegant Chignon

189

The easiest way to escape from the heat during the hot summer days is to tie your hair. But the fact that your hair will be tied up doesn’t mean that it has to look ugly. There are many (and different) beautiful, fancy and elegant hairstyles for lifted hair, just like the double bun updo down below.

The great part of this hairstyle is that you shouldn’t worry about the roots, it doesn’t matter if they are greasy. In fancy, it will be better if they are greasy, because the hairstyle is sleek and you will have to apply stylizing mousse or hair spray anyway. We can finally begin with the steps, they are only four and extremely easy:

  1. Part the hair into two sections – top and bottom. Place your index fingers behind the ears and meet them at the crown area of the head. Try to make the line straight. If needed, you can ask someone to help you with that part.

  2. Comb the top section really nicely, you can even apply smoothing mousse in order to prevent any flying hairs and to make the hair shiny and beautiful. Tie the top section into a ponytail right at the middle of the part-line. Use thin, elastic hair band. Twist the whole tail of that pony and roll it into a ‘snail’ bun.

  3. Tuck the ends under the bun and secure with bobby pins. You can even spritz the bobby pins with some hair spray in order to hold the bun better. Do the same with the bottom section of hair: tie it into a ponytail; twist the tail; roll it into a bun. Secure with bobby pins again.

  4. And the last step is to lock the flying hairs with a little bit of hair spray.

All done! Enjoy this simple, but beautiful hairstyle!
