Lazy Girl’s Guide to Work Out

When you see girls with great bodies on the streets or on social media, there is no way you just cannot start to envy them a little, especially if your body is not as fit as theirs. And what we start doing?

We start dreaming about having the same bodies. Is this impossible?

No, it is not, but it requires some hard work and time. Coming back from work tired or having a lot of chores to do, does not help either, so girls need to start looking for an alternative action. Luckily, we are here to help you. Here is how you can work out even if you feel a bit lazy and not in the mood.

Yes, stretching could be part of the workout. And this is fantastic because it feels great and it does not require a lot of movement. It is actually easy and pleasant, especially after a good night’s sleep.

The good news is that it is also very good for your muscles. When you stretch, and that includes even the gentles one, you increase the blood flow in your muscles and their flexibility. This will mean that this is one pleasant exercise which will also warm you up a little.

Do some yoga

Some people who have never tried to practice yoga think that it is very difficult and requires a lot of flexibility. It is not absolutely true. If you are a newbie, you won’t plunge into the deep, but you will stay on the surface practicing more simple yoga movements.

You can try with Corpse Pose, Child Pose, Cobra, Down Dog, and others. These poses will increase the blow flow not only to your muscles, but to your brain as well. After the exercise you will feel more relaxed and energized as well.

Work out with music

If you think that working out is hard, the problem could be only in your head. You should not think about it as something difficult, or your enemy, you need just to get into the right mood.

And you can do this by listening to your favorite piece of music when you are working out.

Dancing is also a physical activity, you can jump up and down or just let your body follow the music. You can also watch your favorite series. This way you will do two things at the same time and it doesn’t feel like you have wasted your time.

Forget about the elevator

When you come back home or you go to work, you can still work out. Just forget about the elevator and climb the stairs. Of course, if you live on the 30th floor or your office is part of a skyscraper, it is not necessary that you climb all the stairs, when you get tired, stop and have a break, or if you feel like you cannot climb all stairs, just get the elevator from whichever floor you are on.

You will see that with time you will begin to climb higher and higher. The only thing you must not forget to do is to do it every day without exceptions.

Clean your house

Jogging in the park or working out in the gym are not the only possibilities when it comes to working out. As with dancing, you can work out without even realizing it. One way to do it, is to do some cleaning. This way you will be both productive and working out.

Do you know how many calories you can burn if you are doing the dishes, washing the windows or doing the laundry?

It is no wonder why people get so tired after a “cleaning day” at home.

Walk your dog

If you have a dog, then you should take it out for a walk. It is not only its work out, but yours as well. Even if you have no pet you can still go out for a walk in the park, or wherever you feel like. Put on your headphones and listen to your favorite songs.

This way you won’t even realize you are burning calories. It does not matter, it is not a hard work out, but it is still something.

Go shopping

This is my favorite way to work out. Grab a friend and go shopping in the nearby mall. Walking back and forth and trying on clothes is a great workout after a hard day at work. You will lose some calories and you can get a new pair of shoes, or a lovely dress. You will feel so good about your new purchase that you will not even the pain in your legs, if there is such.

Working out really could be a hell of a lot of fun!
