The patience is not one of the strongest qualities of women. We find it strange and extraordinary to wait for something to happen, we always want the things to happen right now and right in the way we want them to happen. That’s why we often search for different ways of making out nails or hair grow faster. We spend a lot of money on masks, which rarely work properly and we end up with short hair and empty bank account.
And when we can’t find what we need in the beauty stores, we start to search for remedies in the kitchen. There are a lot of homemade beauty masks, which work great for us, but you have to find the right one for you. Here is one suggestion from me. Honestly, I haven’t tried this mask yet, but that’s only because I still want to have short hair, but a friend of mine told me that it works really well, take a look:

You will need:
1 tablespoon full of mustard powder;
2-3 tablespoons of lukewarm water;
3 tablespoons of olive oil;
1 egg.

First of all, let me tell you why the mustard powder is working for hair growth. There are many beneficial ingredients in the plant, who is used to create mustard powder. We are talking here about Vitamin A, which works as a healer for damaged hair, also helps the produce of collagen cells and elastic fiber, which will strengthen the hairs and make your curls more elastic. Also, the Vitamin B, which moisturized the hair naturally. Vitamin E is also famous under the name of “the vitamin of beauty and eternal youth”, because of its antioxidant properties. And the capsaicin, that is most responsible for the hair growth, because it irritates the skin of the scalp and brings the blood flow close the to surface, which stimulate the hair growth.

Before the application of the mask, make an allergy test on the inside of the elbow in order to prevent any hair and skin damage.

So, let’s get started. Mix the mustard powder with the water to create a thick paste, then add the olive oil and the egg.

  • Mix the ingredients until you get a smooth paste.
  • Apply the mask on dry, unwashed hair, into the roots. Only the roots.
  • Let the mask work for 15 to 30 minutes. But be aware of the heat that will be created out of the irritation.
  • Then wash the hair as usual, with a shampoo and conditioner. Let it air dry.
  • Apply the mask no more often than once a week, because it is harsh. The results will come after 3-4 weeks.
