Sometimes you have a gorgeous party upcoming in your calendar. It is a cocktail party in a fancy hall of a fancy hotel. You have to look absolutely stunning, because it is a business date and when one woman feel beautiful, she will actually look amazing and glowing and that will be noticed by the business client you want to enchant to work with your company.
You have to pick up the right dress, to put on the appropriate amount of makeup and to create an elegant hairstyle. Let’s start with an idea for the hairstyle
There are two absolutely elegant hairstyles in my eyes:
Soft vintage curls;
Chignon.
You can create so many different styles out of these types of hairstyles that it is almost impossible for me to list them all. But I want to show you how to create a perfect fluffy bun.
The volume chignon will be perfectly matched with an elegant backless dress.
See how to create this hairstyle:
- Comb your hair to the back really smoothly.
- Tie it into a high ponytail tightly.
- Then back-comb the ponytail to give it volume.
- Twist it loosely and wrap it around the hair band.
- Secure with bobby pins and smooth the bun with the comb.
- Done!
Bonus: If your hair is too damaged and tired of harsh stylizing products and heat, you can skip the back-combing technique and use a donut sponge, which is used to create a fluffy bun. Again, tie your hair into a high ponytail, then place the donut sponge by pulling the ponytail through the hole and wrap the sponge with the ponytail. Secure with bobby pins.
When your hair is up that means that the face is all uncovered and you have to pay more attention to it with the makeup. My advice is to enhance the lips and keep the eyes simple and stylish. The classical red lips + cat-eye liner will match perfectly your whole elegant style.
