You know that the most beautiful look is the healthy one. You will look the best when you feel great and when your body is healthy and strong. That applies to every aspect of your lifestyle – how you care for your diet plan, your fitness and your appearance (skin, nails, hair, teeth, etc.)
You can’t treat your hair with heat every single day and expect to have strong and thick hair.
You can’t eat junk food, unhealthy snacks and chocolates every day and to expect healthy and strong body.
You can’t expect to have flawless skin when you don’t take care of it.
I want to talk about the basic rules for good hair care. Here they are:
Don’t overdo the hair washing with shampoo. I know that greasy hair isn’t the most beautiful look in the world, but if you teach your hair to be washed only once or twice a week, eventually it will stop producing so much oil and the hair will look glowing and shiny, not flat and oily.
Choose a shampoo which is specifically designed for your type of hair, which means that you have to analyze what exactly is your type of hair. If you can’t do it alone speak to your hair stylist or dermatologist.
Use a conditioner that matches your hair type and your shampoo.
The best way to dry your hair is to leave it to air dry naturally. Don’t wrap your hair with a towel, some of them have a rough texture and damage and split the hair. Instead of the towel you can use a simple cotton T-shirt.
Limit the usage of heat to once a month and always apply thermal protector before the flat or the curling iron.
