Make a List of Things You Should See on Each Continent

This planet is too big with too many interesting places and things to see that a lifetime won’t be enough to visit them all. There are so many cultures that you should learn about and so many wonders of nature that will blow your mind. However, you will not able to see everything even if you travel every day of your life. So, if you want to be able to see every continent with its most beautiful places, then you should make a list of the most important things there are to see, or at least the most important ones for you. Here is the list we have prepared for you, is so go pack your bags and get on the plane.

Africa

The first continent, we will go to today is Africa. If you have not visited this continent yet, fix that mistake immediately, especially if you prefer nature to the urban life. Start your journey from Zambia and see one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world the Victoria Falls. There, except from being absolutely breathtaking, they also form the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. If you prefer to go to the mountains, then you can go mountain climbing in Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. If you wonder what else you can do there, you may go some trout fishing, or just go through one of the trekking routes and visit the beautiful Chala Crater lake. If you are an animal person, then you can go on a one of the famous African safaris. See all the African animals, lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes, in their natural habitat

        North America

Even if you live in North America this does not mean that you have seen everything. If you have not yet visited The Grand Canyon in Arizona, you better do it in the beginning of spring, in March, or in the end of the spring, in May, when there are not so many people there and the temperature is not too high for outdoor activities, like trekking. If you prefer more green and lively nature, then you should check out the Niagara Falls, which are visible both from Canada and USA. You should not miss, of course, Mount Rushmore with 4 of the most famous USA presidents, and the Statue of Liberty, which is a national symbol, and thousands of tourists each year go there to see it.

South America

This is the continent with probably the most beautiful scenery in the world. In the Amazon jungle live so many species that some of them are still not discovered from the scientists. If you are not afraid of the jungle, then you may sail down the Amazon river with the boat. Other astonishing places you must visit are the Galapagos Islands, where you can see the giant tortoises, Macho Picchu, in Peru, AKA “The lost city of the Incas, the River of Five Colors in Columbia, the Hand of the Desert in Chile, and so many others that there will not be enough time and space to describe them all.

Australia

The continent that after it was discovered, it was used as a prison, and a lot of galley-slaves were taken there in exile. Fortunately, with time people have discovered its beauty and they began to populate the land. If you think of all the sights there, the Great Barrier Reef is the first thing that can pop into somebody’s mind. Except from being absolutely beautiful, the reef is also so big that it could be seen from outer space. There is also the Sydney Opera House, which is one of the most famous in the world. If you would like to visit some of the rarest animals in the world, like koalas, kangaroos, or dingoes, then you should better go to one of the national parks – Blue Mountains National Park and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Asia

Not only that the continent is the biggest one, but it surely has a lot of sights that are worth visiting. One of the first things that will come to your mind is probably China with its Great Wall – The Great Wall of China. Of course, there is more to it, like Mount Everest in Nepal, the highest mountain top in the world, Taj Mahal in India, which is a symbol of love and it means “Crown Palace”, and Temple of Heaven in China.

       Europe

It is no wonder why this continent was called “the old continent”, it has such a rich culture and history, that you will lose a lot of time if you try to track it down. Start your journey with the famous Eiffel Tower and the Louvre in France. Continue with the Buckingham Palace and the London Eye in London. Check out some of the medieval castles in Germany, and finish your tour with the amazing Italian cities, like Rome, Florence and Venice, which would blow your mind with beauty and history.

Antarctica

You may think that just because it is too cold to live there, there is nothing you can see, except for ice, but you are wrong. You can visit Deception Island, which was formed by a volcanic eruption. An interesting fact is, that there is actually a museum on the continent. It is the only post office in the entire continent and it is called Port Lockroy. And, of course, do not forget about all the icebergs you can have a close look too.
